Rainstorms kept sprouting up out of nowhere on the radar all today. First, they started appearing out of the southwest but then in the afternoon we were threatened by a large front sweeping down from the northeast. Morning session had a steady downpour which made sailing a little miserable (but windy nonetheless!). The northeast front dissipated as it moved towards Duxbury which provided a perfect window for some clear, yet rainy sailing.
In the picture above, Danny Hickey from Opti Advanced fights his way upwind through some moderate chop. PARENTS PLEASE PACK A RAINJACKET FOR YOUR KIDS DURING FOULWEATHER DAYS!!
