Clouds! - a rant from Tyson
Being a super, ultranautical sailor requires more than just boatspeed and an knowledge of the rules. A basic intuition regarding meteorology and oceanography can aid any sailor. Identifying a seabreeze can help you forecast hours into the immediate future. Even knowing when high tide will occur can change where you line your boat up on the starting line.

Saturday Race Series
Saturday was a huge success having a bunch of optis show up as well as some 420s to race. The day started a little slow but once the sailors were out on the docks, it went by fast. The Opti and 420 line got off three solid races throughout the two hour period ending the day with awards to the top three sailors. If anyone is interested, call the office to get more details.
